Recommended Souvenir Series (1) – Edible Olive Oil

Foods&Sweets

Japan truly has a vast array of creative and carefully crafted food products. Perhaps it stems from the desire to enjoy delicious flavors!

Recently, I’ve been hooked on “edible olive oil.” This product combines olive oil or canola oil with fried garlic, spices, and other ingredients, making it a perfect topping for baguettes and creating an ideal breakfast!

You can find these types of toppings for bread, as well as a wide variety of other unique food products, at shops like KALDI and Kototoya by HOME COMING. In addition to bread pairings, they offer items that go well with rice, dressings, hot pot soups, sweets, ramen, udon, soba noodles, and more.

If you have the chance to visit Japan, I recommend exploring these food specialty shops to try something you might not usually encounter. It’ll bring extra joy when you’re back home, too.

I plan to continue this series, so stay tuned for more recommendations!

This is the ”Edible Olive Oil” which I bought at “Kototoya by HOME COMING”. It’s very nice taste!
